5-day Masterclass Portrait from drawing to painting

From November 1 – November 5, I will be teaching a 5-day Masterclass in Portraiture from drawing to painting at the Fine Art Academy in picturesque Molenaarsgraaf.

Painting a realistic portrait with a loose touch seems easy at first sight. Painting a live model in this way requires the necessary technical knowledge in the field of drawing, lighting effects, anatomy, color and brushwork. In the master class ‘Portrait, from drawing to painting’ I will teach you step by step how to use these technical facets to draw and paint a similar portrait with a spontaneous touch. The portrait will be painted alla prima (wet in wet).
