Exhibition ’Natural Reflections’

Currently I am working on the final preparations for my first exhibition in my place of work and residence, Doesburg. Last year, as a result of my participation in the exhibition ‘Lang leve Rembrandt’ in the Rijksmuseum, I received an invitation from the ‘Stichting De Raadskelder’ to exhibit in the heart of Doesburg. The exhibition called ‘Natural reflections’ takes place against the backdrop of the beautiful medieval city center in the atmospheric Raadskelder of the City Hall. I hereby cordially invite you to be present at the opening. In connection with catering I would like to know if you will be present at the opening. The opening is Sunday, March 22 at 13.30 hours in the hall of the Town Hall, Roggestaat 2, Doesburg.

If you are unable to attend the opening, you can visit the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday until April 26. The exhibition is in the Raadskelder Doesburg (Philippus Gastelaarsstraat 2 Doesburg). On some days I will also be present myself. On Sunday 5 April it is also Cultural Sunday in Doesburg, where other art studios in the city center will be open. On Sunday 26 April from 10:00 to 17:00 there is a curiosity market ‘Mont Martre’ in front of the town hall.

Painting lessons
Last month I gave my first painting lessons in portrait painting after a live model in oil. It was a fascinating new experience for me. Partly due to the enthusiasm of the enthusiastic students I have decided to give a few lessons again next year. If you are interested in a painting lesson, please let me know.

New own work
Currently I have started a series of new paintings of which I will reveal more later this year. It promises to be a very special project.
