Exhibition Painters Plaza

Under the name Painters Plaza, six Gelderland-based artists are exhibiting this spring in the North Chapel of the Stevenskerk in Nijmegen. Wencke Vinks is one of the six artists.

These contemporary professional artists work under one common denominator: contemporary realistic painting, building on a centuries-old tradition. The artists each use their own style and working method and thus give realistic painting its own form, creating a unique body of work. The artists are Erik van de Beek, Sjaak Kaashoek, Riebo Rietema, Jos van Riswick, Ulrich Suberg and Wencke Vinks. The genres in which they work are still life, landscape, cityscape, church interior, portrait and genre piece. During the exhibition the painters will give a daily demonstration, drawing or painting.
