Exhibition ‘Souvenirs’ in the Wildeman in Doesburg

I am currently working on a solo exhibition based on my personal travel experiences. Like art, travel is good for the soul and we have been missing that for a while. More than ever, the desire to move freely again prevails among us. This desire was one of the reasons for a new series of paintings. That is why, in the weekend of 2 and 3 October 2021, I am giving an exhibition called ‘Souvenirs’. My most beautiful souvenirs that I took home from my travels through Europe, Asia and America are full sketchbooks, travel logs and photos. These travel diaries still inspire me years later and form an interesting cohesion with my contemporary painting. On show will be portraits and landscapes that are about reflection, desire, encounters, poetry, wonder and discovery.
