Workshop portraiture at Academy de Halve Maan in Doesburg

Lies Halfwerk and Wencke Vinks will give a 3-day workshop “Learning to make portraits from a live model – from sketch to painting” at Academy de Halve Maan in Doesburg starting Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

To paint a human figure in real life is a fascinating challenge, the teachers reveal. Artists Lies Halfwerk and Wencke Vinks from Doesburg take the participants into the world of portraiture.

You will learn step by step how to draw a lively portrait and how to use this knowledge to eventually create a beautiful portrait in oil.

The workshop is for both advanced and beginners. The class days are on Wednesday 12, 19 and 26 February 2020. The 3-day course costs 250 euros. That includes materials and lunch.
